This course is designed to familiarize each participant with the fundamentals of cone beam computed tomography technology radiation risks, legal responsibilities and interpretation as well as its many applications to dentistry. On the first day of the course, oral and maxillofacial radiologists will present an overview of CBCT technology, anatomy of the maxillofacial region and clinical applications in implantology, endodontics, surgery, orthodontics, periodontology, and pathology with numerous case examples. On the second day interpretation will be empathized in detail using 35-40 or more hands-on cases.
